* Dropped by [[Dark Inferno]], a rare spawning creature only found on the [[Obsidian Plains]]. The scroll only drops about 1 in 3 kills.
* Cannot be used.
* Does not stack. 
* Turn in to [[Fanzen San the Translator]] for 3 free points of Magic Defense. Although you can turn in the scroll multiple times, you will only receive the +3 points in Magic Defense on the first turn-in.  On subsequent turn-ins you'll receive a max of 10K xp, so it is recommended that you only turn this item in once per character and that you use it for the last 3 points of Magic Defense, i.e. turn in when Magic Defense is 3 points from max.  Specialized Magic Defense will yield more overall xp than trained.  If you are maxed or less than 3 points shy, use the [[Temple of Forgetfulness]] to drop the xp and then reraise to 3 points less than max.
