* Requires very little mana to use in contrast to the attunated version.
* Found on the corpse of [[Hea Karenua]], one of the members of the Hea Raiding Party that also includes [[Hea Temenua]]. The drop rate is 100% and he only drops one. He also drops 4 [[Karenua's Key]]s.
* Quest timer.
* You can convert the Awakener into the [[Attenuated Awakener]], and vice versa, by giving it to [[Aun Ngationa]] in [[Timaru]]:
