== Summary == * This event ran for 4 weeks from June to July 2006. === Grael's Shadow Lieutenant === * Grael's Shadow Lieutenant and his army attack the locations where the Shadow Spires fell including: Arwic, Eastham, Khayaban, Tufa, Tou Tou, Sawato and the Dark Design dungeon near Eastwatch. * The Lieutenant at each of the locations drops a piece of a ripped note, which can be combined with the other pieces to form A Letter. The letter can be translated and then handed in to Sarkin Killcrane of Wai Jhou for an XP reward (3%) and the title Apprentice Shadow Hunter. === Grael's Shadow Captain === * Grael's Shadow Captain and his army of high level Shadows attacks Arwic and the other former Shadow Spire attack sites. * The Shadow attacks on the seven locations (six towns plus Dark Design) have become stronger. Now more powerful Shadows, including Void Lords, Shadow Nightmares and Shadow Wraiths, have appeared, and in most cases they're actually inside the towns, rather than surrounding them. They're also joined by Shadow Storms and Lesser Penumbral Horrors (mini Shadow Grievvers that spawn from the corpses of the towns' Criers). * The Captain at each site drops a Shadow Mote on death, which can be combined to form a Shadow Shard. The shard can be shown to Sarkin Killcrane for the title Shadow Hunter. === Grael's general attacks Wai Jhou === * Grael's general, Makkar, and creatures including Void Lords, Shadow Wraiths, Mukkir Sadists, Small Fledgling Mukkir and Adolescent Mukkir attack the Direland outpost of Wai Jhou. * Makkar drops a claw on death, which can be given to Sarkin Killcrane to break the spell that was cast on him by the Mukkir General. In return, Sarkin rewards you with xp (99 mill max) and the title Killcrane's Ally. === Grael's forces retreat (Week 3) === * Grael's Shadow Captain reappears in Arwic and the other towns after each new spawn is cleared. When the captain is defeated, a portal opens to a dungeon. In most dungeons, there is a generic Mukkir General, but In Arwic the general is Makkar himself. The generals each drop a Piece of a Device on their corpse. * When the seven pieces from each general are combined it forms an Incomplete Device. The device can be used with the Shadow Shard from earlier to create the Inactive Device. === A Shadow Breach opens in Arwic (Week 4) === * Once again, the spawns at the Arwic Shadow crater have changed. This time, several VoD-level Shadows, some Barbaric Panumbral Mukkirs. * General Makkar also makes another appearance, this time near the breach with the other Mukkir. He drops an Amulet of Dark Rage, which when wielded allows the wearer to enter the breach. * A Shadow Vortex at the bottom of the dungeon is found and killed and a portal to Arwic then appears. * After the vortex is destroyed, players can show their amulets to Sarkin Killcrane for xp and the title Knight of the Golden Flame. * The Inactive Device can be shown to Sarkin Killcrane for xp and the title Squire of the Golden Flame. * The amulet can also be shown to Riordin Nightbane, who will then accept the Inactive Device and give you Grael's Claw in return.
