== General ==
One of four suits of [[Shadow Armor]], introduced during the [[Engineered Ascendance]] event. <br>
The Major Smoldering Set is made by adding a [[Major Smoldering Stone]] to a piece of [[Shadow Armor]]. The stone does not get used up by putting it in the armor.<br>
Though the stone itself is [[Attuned]], the resulting armor is not.<br>
Putting in the stone ups the AL from 460 to 500, changes the wield requirement from level 50 to 80. The secondary, undyeable, color is changed from DCS Color 8000 - FogGrey to 8021 - CoralPink.<br>
The prots are changed as followed:
* Unparalleled (1000) to fire
* Above Average (600) to cold
* Excellent (800/850) to all other protects
* Average (500) Nether
