Level 8 spells will drop on weapons and armor, though, so an Arcane Lore Melee (or, really, anyone who chose not to get Creature) should have limited access to the new buffs - just not complete access. <br /><br /> I thought I mentioned this in the treasure document, but all components in the new research system will drop from loot except for the scarabs.
