# Enter the [[Cave of the Escaped Thief]] at 71.1N, 50.2W.
#* Route 1: [[Mayoi]] to [[Lady Maila Estates]] portal at 60.9S, 80.3E.
#* Route 2: [[Stonehold]] to [[The Pit]], jump to the bottom and take the [[Portal to the Beach Fort]].
# Hug the left wall to the bottom of the dungeon until you reach an [[Escaped Thief]] surrounded by 4 [[Abhorrent Eater]]s.  
# Kill the thief and loot {{Itemlink|The Sword of Bellenesse}} (drops 3 per kill, 4 minute respawn timer). 
# Return the sword to the NPC of your choice for a reward:
#* [[Bhravarn ibn Salizim]] for the [[Replica Sword of Bellenesse]]
#* [[Lucari di Bellenesse]] for the [[Shield of Silyun]]
#* [[Turien di Furza]] for the [[Shield of Sanamar]]
