== Walkthrough & Notes ==
# Run north of [[Fort Tethana]] to the [[Tumerok Post]] at 12.2N 68.1W and go in, tie to the surface portal (or just go through it) so you can easily return if you die.
#* {{Optional}} Continue north to [[Lord Marsan's Battlefield|a large blackened battlefield]] and go to the north side where you'll find {{Itemlink|Lord Marsan's Log Book}} on the ground at 17.0N 68.1W.
# The dungeon portal to [[The Dark Spiral]] is on top of a smoking hill in the middle of the blackened area. Climb up the hill at 15.9N, 68.8W.
# The dungeon is very convoluted and you can run in circles endlessly, so either look at the map, or follow these directions closely. From the drop go down until you come to a 3 way branching intersection, take the middle tunnel, the rest of the intersections past here will be Y splits. Take the right split, then the left split, then the right split, then it will go down to a jump.
# Pick up {{Itemlink|Lore of the Dark Spiral}} from the floor.
# Bring Lord Marsan's Log Book to [[Lieutenant Durgan]] in Fort Tethana (1.5N, 71.7W) for an xp reward.
# Hand in the Lore of the Dark Spiral to either [[Lieutenant Allandal]], [[Lieutenant Durgan]] or [[Lieutenant Dialossa]] to receive your main reward.
# {{Optional}} If you do not want your item reward, hand it back to the NPC to receive an experience reward instead.
