# Open a portal to the Lair of The Homunculus using a [[Lair of The Homunculus (Portal Gem)]] on a flat open surface.
# Once everyone is inside, the dungeon is large but simply go down whenever you see a jump down and you'll eventually come to a large room where the [[Homunculus]] spawns in the middle.
# Defeat the Homunculus and loot {{Itemlink|Head of the Homunculus}}.
# He only drops a single head, so you will have to kill him once for every member in your fellowship, however he respawns once a minute.
# The head can make three different items:
## It can be used in its present form as a housing item which casts spells increasing each school of magic 2 points for three hours.
## Bring to [[Grearrk, Mosswart Emissary]] at 29.0S 58.2E near [[Sawato]] for {{Itemlink|Head of the Homunculus (Casting Orb)|Head of the Homunculus}} casting orb. You can also add 2 [[Idol Gem]]s (War and Item skill check) to turn it into a more powerful orb.
## Hand to a [[Mask Maker]] to turn it into a {{Itemlink|Homunculus Mask}}.
