# Visit [[Leikotha's Crypt]] at 10.1S 31.3E. Once inside, Speak to [[Leikotha]] to obtain a {{Itemlink|Broken Haft}}.
#* Route: From [[Samsur]], take the [[Yinar]] portal at 0.9S, 18.9E. From there, run west (and slightly south) to the crypt at 10.1S 31.3E. 
# Next, visit [[Kayna bint Iswas]] in [[Kayna bint Iswas' Home|her home]] at 1.7S, 36.6E. Hand your [[Broken Haft]] to Kayna to receive a {{Itemlink|Repaired Haft}} and the text, {{Itemlink|Notes on the Silifi}}.
#* Route: From [[Lytelthorpe]], take the [[Devana]] portal at 2.2N, 50.3E. From there, run east to the house at 1.7S, 36.6E
#* {{Optional}} You can also give a [[Skeleton's Skull]] to Kayna to receive the text, {{Itemlink|The Silifi of the Crimson Stars}}.
# Find an appropriate [[Silifi of Crimson Stars Quest#Armoredillo Spines|Armoredillo Spine]] and attach it to the [[Repaired Haft]] to create a [[Silifi of Crimson Stars]]. (Heavy Weapon skill check).
#* Note: If you fail to attach the spine, you will end up with a Broken Haft.  Bring it back to [[Kayna bint Iswas]] to have her repair it again.
