# Purchase an {{itemlink|Intricate Carving Tool}}, available from numerous shopkeepers (see item for details).
# With lockpicking skill, use the carving tool on the hearts to craft {{itemlink|Intricate Wooden Key}}s, {{itemlink|Intricate Copper Key}}s, and {{itemlink|Intricate Obsidian Key}}s. Each heart yields three keys. The keys may be given after being crafted.
# Use a wooden key on a tiny mnemosyne to produce {{itemlink|An Unlocked Tiny Mnemosyne}}.
