== Scavenger Hunt ==
Report from Maggie: I was lucky enough to be online when the announcement of another scavenger hunt went out! We met in the Holtburg Meeting Hall and teamed up into fellowships. Then once the word was given, we were off to ransack our mules to provide the items listed! I was rifling through the backpack of a mule when I heard that we had 1 minute left to return! On no! Although I had 5 of the items on the list to contribute to my team, my connection was soooo slow, that I couldn't log Maggie back in and get to my team to add them to the pot before the tally time was up. Luckily, I was fellowed with the packenest-packrats in the game! My team had duplicates of most of my items, plus Gwydiana was cooking up a storm, so we managed to squeak out the win with 14 points! Yay! We were rewarded with a Marble Key!

Run for your Life - 11th Feb - From the Turbine AC Site

We will be holding an event on each world at the times shown below (subject to change if we overun). If we receive a lot on entrants, the later runs may be moved to another day - an update will be posted here in that situation.

If you wish to take part you will need to create a new born character and meet at Holtburg Social Centre at the time shown. Your character must be level 1, unbuffed and wearing starter clothes when participating in this event.

Your challenge will be to survive for as long as you can!!

You will be required to use the lifestone at Holtburg, then a portal will be created for your new char to run through, the person who runs the furthest before dieing (and you will) will be the winner. Further instructions will be given at the event.
The judges decision is final.

Anyone using a portal (except the official one), another lifestone, recalls or uses buffs - will be disqualified.

The winner will get a suitable prize and title - this can be awarded to your main char on any world (it does not need to be the same world the event was run on).

I have had 9 hours of great mayhem, I havent laughed so much for ages.

Due to the exceedingly high turn out and the number of messages I had flying past my screen, I will be checking my logs for the night before confirming the final results.

Congratulations to all those who took part, even those who died as soon as they stepped through the portal.

Zerono of HG sends this brief summary of the event:
"The LeM would open a portal to the dires (VoD LS). When stepping into the portal that the LeM cast there was more lag then I had seen in ages. The whole LS was littered with corpses and pink/white lvl 1 noobs. Death message upon death message came in. Portal storms actually happened again! When the event took place on HG. A few of us had grabbed our high level chars and started running monsters into the noobs. The LeO and LeM had a good laugh about that.

The idea was to just go anyway you wanted from the drop and get as far as you could without getting killed. Pretty much anything out there would 1 shot you. You ran as far as you could for about 30 mins. If you died then you send in your coords to either the LeM or the LeO. Then most people would go pink and do some noobie pklite fights. The LeM even summoned some VoD monsters in Holt and when they used rings OMG it was so funny. The event was like no other. I hope they run another event like this."
