== Escaped Convict February 11, 2005 - TD == Blizzard' of TD reports: "Sup maggie, guess what! Grazfen escaped again, and with the help of Elistan, Auma, Me, and Donald Trump, we ran 100 clicks to elistan's cottage. We were getting messages that we were heading there, and had to run through 200 pkls and 2 envoys, but we took shelter in the cottage until they gave up. We were teleported to an unreachable landscape, and were awarded. I got an inscribed pack idol." --thanks to Blizzard' of TD Dear Maggie, First off, I would like to say that you have the best website in the world ;) Anyway, to the event. It all began a week ago... (enter flashback here) Last Friday Auma (me), and my patron Syning were hanging around in Marketplace, when a live event goes out! Being level 5 I listened to my patron's chattering of the event as she hunted Grazfen. Booooring. So I went and @told Grazfen, and wow, what a great guy. Charming, Handsome, everything! Anyway, we had proven to me that he was totally innocent. I got Sying and Caiden from our monarch and went to Hebian-To to try and protect him! But, alas, we couldn't arrive in time and Blizzard' with the assistance of Elistan received his spear. But! There was something different about the spear, carrying an inscription saying "To Auma...." It's crazy how many tells I got, (I know now what it feels like to be a big celebrity like Maggie the Jackcat) and finally we persuaded Blizzard' and Elistan to aid us in Grazfen's Defense! He even gave me that spear! We barraged poor +Leo Netherlands with angry tells, and not affected, he responded with a simple "I'll we what we can do." We planned to meet again a Friday a week from then. Monday But Grazfen wasn't patient! He escaped from the Glenden Wood Dungeon cells and ran. Luckily, Syning was online to aid him and had a powerful group to defend! But, one member was treacherous! Grazfen was felled with a single arrow in the back! We decided that on Friday, only the original fellowship shall get together! Today (Friday the uhh, 11th?) We were prepped and ready! Me, Blizzard' and Syning head over to the Glenden Wood Dungeon! We raided the place and waited for other fellowship members to arrive. Elistan and a friend brought by Blizzard, Donald Trump, arrived on the scene! It appeared, however, that we were too late!! Grazfen had already escaped! And was hiding around the outskirts of Cragstone! We met up with him, and our fellowship was graced with Grazfen himself! We began a horrible, horrible run to Blizzard's Cottage, evading many chances at death! My newbie self died a few times, but I was only 18th!! We arrived with a change of plans, and a new fellow member. Dark (something or nother) had fellowed, and we were getting new coords! Blizzard's house was locked and we ran to Elistans. All on the fellowship channel... Which was bad. Soon, +Leo Netherlands got the coordinates to Elistans cottage! We were waiting with bated breath as we entered the settlement. Only a few l33t pkz were there waiting and we got inside safely. Ah, the sweet taste of victory. The crowd dissipated until only 5 remained, and we were portaled out of the cottage onto some high, faraway mountain where Grazfen could live! In favor, I received a pack Ursuin, and his 2nd Spear! Inscribed of course ;) BLizzard' will probably send you pics soon! Love your site! Auma of TD Oh, and not to mention, I got a farewell kiss off of him! Asaki Wei, Cursed Adventurer Easton Trueshot of VT sends these screens of the event on VT in Lin, Feb. 12, 2005! A dark shadow looms over the town of Lin. (click to enlarge) --thanks to Easton Trueshot of VT Asaki Wei says, "I am cursed! This sword! It is darkness!" Asaki Wei says, "May my Gleaming armor protect me from the night!" Asaki Wei's armor was an additional prize! Shayla O'Rourke poses below (left) in Asaki Wei's Gleaming Armor while holding Aujanel's Spur! And so, plain and simple, we fought the shadows back and murdered the man for bringing it to our town. Thanks and love your site!!" Rhesus sends this update: "Hey Maggie! It looks like there's more to the eye on this Gleaming Armor than is first apparent. It will tinker. In fact, I tinkered my entire suit tonight, six times on each piece. The whole suit is now AL 350. It will also Retain. I put a bag of leather on each piece also. I'd go for tinker 7, but even with ws 10 steel and a capped tinker, it's really hard to get 100% and I refused to tinker this stuff with anything less than 100% chance. Thanks so much for the site!!!"
