Hey Maggie it's Julian's Touch from TD. We got a broadcast on TD (Feb. 12, 2005) saying :

+LeO Milan says, "Between new species arriving and attempting to take over the land and old species growing stronger, we have a lot we need to protect ourselves and our land from."

+LeO Milan says, "Sometimes, it depends largely on the players around, how they react and how they bring enjoyment to the event"
+LeO Milan says, "Each world has different attitudes towards the events."
+LeO Milan says, "This event is a crafting event, combat isn't required so it tends to invoke a lot of distaste in many."
.+LeO Milan says, "There will be plenty of those in the weeks ahead."
.+LeO Milan says, "We've got 9 worlds each needing events for the next few months to fill in the gap without a patch."

Kalico Kat says, "lol I enjoyed the race even if I died within a few mins of reaching the dires :D"

Me : Are you an AC player, AC fan, or you are not playing ?
+LeO Milan says, "I'm an AC player and have been since retail."

Me : So i have no doubt you have tons of ideas for event!
+LeO Milan says, "Some of the events are involved and more complex, so we're waiting on Turbine's appoval."
+LeO Milan says, "We have ideas for story arc type events. At the moment believe it or not we have very few event "types" to follow."
+LeO Milan says, "Fox & hound events seem to be fun with people running after a person."

Team Gladiator - Rescheduled!

TEAM GLADIATOR - your day of glory

Its back, bigger and better than ever!

So you think you are tough? That your fellowship can stand up to anyone on your world?

Well now is your chance to prove that, its time to put your best armour on and sharpen your blades.

This weekend we will be inviting you to form a fellowship with eight of your closest friends to face the best the world has to offer.

Each contest will consist of up to four teams competing against each other in mortal combat, in a fight to the death. The winning team will be the one that has at least one team member alive when all their opponents have died.

If sufficient teams from each world wish to take part, there will be rounds of up to four teams competing in each bout. The winners of the bouts will go forward to the next round or the final.

So what are you waiting for? Gather your team in preparation.

The Rules:
Teams can be Player Killer Lites or Player Killers, Red teams on "white" worlds will be able to compete if sufficient teams apply.

Any clothing/armour/weapons/magic may be used.
Any buffs may be used.
Any player porting or logging from the contest area will be disqualified.
Any player not abiding by the LEM/LEO requests will be ported from the contest area.

Fellowships wishing to take part must submit their Fellowship name, Leader and World and if PINK or RED team, to me via PM on this forum, BEFORE the event is due to start. Darktide players must also specify which time slot

We will conduct as may Gladiator fights as time permits on each world.

The Mechanics:
A LEO will contact and visit your team in-game.
Start buffing immediately !!
A Book listing your Fellowship name and members must be handed to the LEO.
Shortly thereafter you will be transported to the arena.
Combat starts as soon as you arrive !!

Those requiring to recover their bodies will be ported back when the bout has finished.

Eaters Arrive!

Hey Maggie,
I logged in as Sideburns this afternoon to take him for some Chozorite mining when I noticed a critter in the heart of Cragstone. I saw it run by, and it was nothing I'd EVER seen before. After Id'ing it, I knew what it was. It was a valmontian pet, an Eater!

Sideburns ran up to it (right next to Lt. Kenneth in Cragstone) and we had a stand off. It attacked me first, so I grabbed my xbow and tried to slay it, but to no avail. It killed me!

So, with my hometown under attack by this creature, I logged on my highest level character, Brayden Von Grohl and went looking for the Eater. I found him quickly and chased him almost to the town crier (where the portal to Cragstone drops you) and the Eater growled at me! I brandished my slash rend sword and killed it quickly.

I looted the corpse and it had only a few items, a fish, a viamont toast, a pair of boots, leather tassets, an apple and a linen cowl. The stats on the viamont toast are: Viamont Toast, value 22p, 75 burden, restores 9 stamina when consumed.

I also read where there were Eater sightings on Soclaim as well. Thanks Maggie... I would be lost without your site.

The Viamontians Attack!
Celdiseth steps outside to enjoy the night air...glancing around he sees something never seen before on his shore...

On Morningthaw, a group of Viamontian Knights lead by a Lieutenant and his Eater portaled into Dereth just outside of Celdiseth's Archmage shop. These Viamontians were level 85, and adorned the new Viamontian armor.

The creatures fell quickly to Pierce attacks, and the assault was stopped, almost as quickly as it started.

With the drop of the finishing blow, the marching orders from General Corcima fell to the ground, indicating their plot to spy on us. Unfortunately, Antius would not hear our plea to take the letter, so we tried carlo, who was also uninterested.

We are being raided, and nobody seems to care. I fear the worst.

Viamontians attacked thistledown today outside of celdiseth's cottage. Viamontian knights and mercenaries and an ugly beast that looked like it was all teeth called and eater. They all went down fairly easy and a global went out when the first knight fell. Only the one that killed the knight could open the corpse. He found a set of orders on it that neither Antius nor Carlo would take....

Varicci's Orders
