=== Step 2 - Extraction Gem ===
Give the chosen Token to [[Aelira]], and at the cost of 1,000,000 [[Luminance]], she will charge an Extraction Gem.  [[Lifestone Shard|Lifestone Shard Collectors]] that are not currently on cooldown, will receive a [[Luminous Armor Crystal (Attuned)]] (more on these in Step 4) in addition to the Extraction Gem.

There is a limit of 5 Extraction Gems per week.

The purpose of an Extraction Gem is to destroy suitable armor to create Armor Remnants.  There are 2 versions of each Extraction Gem, and you can tell the difference between them by looking at the description.
* Extraction Gem ''marked with a Sword'' - is for extracting armor with +1-2 Crit Dmg rating.
* Extraction Gem ''marked with a Shield'' - is for extracting armor with a +1-2 Crit Dmg Resist rating.

Extraction Gems can be exchanged with [[Aelira]] as needed to match the type of rating on the armor you want to extract in the following step.
