== Very Mad Cow Attack! == Warriors of Dereth, long have you had your way with the defenseless cows of this world - slaughtering, mocking, tipping. You wound these noble beasts for your demented amusement, and still they maintain peace. But the cows have suffered long enough. There is one who has risen, one who would scour the world of your two-legged kind. She is mad, oh so very mad. And she stalks the hills east of Ayan Baqur. Marki Bardo of MT reports: "On Morningthaw today at about 7:30pm EST we were attacked by a Very Mad Cow and his evil minions. It resembled normal cows in that it carried parts of Dereth on it's sides but sported a very nasty blood dripping mouth, red color (Probably the red bull of Viamont), and a level of 1034. It was almost always a 1 hit kill for anybody without a shield and had it's magic defense was almost impossible to get past. Few spells were landed on the cow and that only because of the sheer volume of spells cast. Eventually the cow was brought down with the kill going to Darwich. It seems that this was only the beginning, we are only safe 'For now.'" (click to enlage) A low moo echoes amongst the forests north of Ayan Baqur. Your world is once again safe. For now. Darius of the Nexus on HG sends this live report: "At the moment, there are only a few cows at Wei Jhou, but the guild of the person that killed the "Very Mad Cow" is starting to trickle into town. Angeni (the killer of the cow) got stormed before she could loot, so it has been said the devs are going to help by spawning another cow or having another event. No word yet from that person or that person's guild." (click to enlage) Sizzlorr of DT also sends a report: "So at about 10 after 7 mtn time, a global went out over DT saying that there was a crazed cow running around out on AL. So I went with the rest of the server (yes we got along...for a while) to try and kill the cow. Eventually a huge fight broke out, but what do you expect? Attached are a few pics of the fight/raid." (click to enlage) Chiun Too of Leafcull reports: "On Leafcull, there was a global of nearly the same message as MT at about 6:12 PM Central. The very mad cow was located south of Candeth Keep. Luckily, my lvl 141 UA (Chiun Too) has his lifestone tie set at the nearby lifestone (the one by the D-note portal to Aerlinthe). I zipped out and engaged the very mad cow at about 6:22 PM. The cow was at about 80% health. Within 1 minute of engaging, Chiun Too was killed by 2 fast hits from the cow. The first was for 214 pts of damage (a crit, got hit through the doppleganger shield for huge amounts), and the second hit put Chiun Too at the LS. There were two seconds between hits that put Too at the LS. If the cow had her head towards me, I pretty much never connected. From the side/rear, hit reliably for 2 pts at max speed...this with a 30 - 50 buffed slash neckode at 490+ buffed UA and +30% attack mods. Got back out to the cow and it was still at 22% health. Chrystania got the kill on the cow. After the very mad cow, level 7 mad cows spawned in all towns I personally checked. I didn't check every single town, but AB, Hebian-To, Cragstone, Zaikhal, and Mayoi all had numerous level 7 mad cows. They have 120 health. They also end up in weird places. One was in a tree in GW (had to use harm to kill it), and one was on top of a vendor house in Mayoi. There was no reported loot/quest item from killing the cow. Love the website!" Thanks also to Darwich of MT, Zerono and Archer of Radiance of HG
