He rounded up and executed the bloodline of High King [[Pwyll II]] immediately after his victory.<ref>2003/10 [[Reign of Terror]] - [[Alfric's Bull]]</ref> A man of great practicality and few scruples, Alfric refused to mercifully exile or imprison them, to avoid a descendant who could unite the Aluvians and challenge his own offspring for the throne.
