Their counterpart is the faction of the [[Light Falatacot]].<ref name=MoarsI>2004/07 [[Treaties in Stone]] - [[History of the Moars on Dereth, Part I]]</ref> The Sisters split when some of them began "quickening" other races. This led to a schism, and some of their eternal bodies were locked away in Temples. The Dark Sisters have a strict, matriarchal, hierarchy. As a reaction to the meddling in the magics of [[Bur]] of the Dark Sisters, the followers of the Light brought the [[Moar]] there.<ref name=MoarsI>2004/07 [[Treaties in Stone]] - [[History of the Moars on Dereth, Part I]]</ref> The Sclavus were created by fusing the lives and spirits of the male Falatacot and creatures called the Fiazhatin.<ref name=Ibrexi>2004/04 [[A New Threat]] - [[Ibrexi Jikti's Journal]]</ref><ref name=ReportNiarltah>2004/08 [[From the Darkness Born]] - [[Report to Niarltah]]</ref> After they began their society on Bur and were stricken by the malice of the Burun, the Dark Sisters abandoned the world of Bur. They took with them a supply of the serpent-like creatures and sealed the access to the world.
