{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=3572</nowiki> | Title = Targeting an opponents armour? | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.12.04 | Player = Shadeslay | Title = Targeting an opponents armour? | Category = Balance | Question = I have tried several times, to no avail. Is it possible? If not why do we have spells such as brittle mail ect? I realize this would effect PK balance. However as it is now a mage can vuln a melee & that melee will have 0al against that spell, because banes & armour offer no protects vs spells. However, if a melee was to vuln a mage that mage's banes would still give him protection. I read in a previous post that armour & banes will never protect vs spells. Seems a bit unfair, however, if we could target an opponents armour, it would give melee a better chance in PKing, granted they would have to cast twice as many spells to debuff a mage.<br /><br />Thx for your time<br /><br />Sincerly David | Answered = 2000.12.05 | Dev = Stormwaltz | Answer = No, it's not possible. Tactically, Lures and Brittle can only be used on shields.<br /><br />Worn items are fully merged with your avatar - there's no way to target them. }} }}
