{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=3600</nowiki> | Title = Hollow Weapons | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.12.05 | Player = Warblade Prime | Title = Hollow Weapons | Category = Combat | Question = I went through the trouble of getting my Hollow Axe and it certainly looks nice. But does it have any real value if you're not a PK? Most (if not all ) of the spell casting monsters I've run into cast spells at me and not my weapons. Since the axe has no greater killing ability than a basic spine axe and can't be enchanted, it actually appears to have less practical value than weapons that can be enchanted. Since I am considering selling my hollow, I want to make sure this perception is correct.<br /><br />Also, I made the mistake of grabbing two pieces of low grade chlorozite ore instead of one. Since the ore is no drop and you apparently can't make two hollow weapons (the ore refiner runs out of materials) I am stuck with 1000 unecessary burden units. Is there any value in making this item no drop other than preventing players who have not completed the first part of the quest from getting a hollow weapon? It would seem to make more sense to allow a player to sell "extra" low grade ore to a jewler who would not put it up for resale. That way the quest is not compromised and players, like myself, who took two pieces or more of ore (just to make sure) can correct a silly mistake. | Answered = 2000.12.05 | Dev = Stormwaltz | Answer = Hollow weapons were designed with PK specifically in mind. Since some higher level monsters buff themselves, they do have their use in PvM.<br /><br />You can give the ore to a Town Crier to get rid of it. }} }}
