{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=3878</nowiki> | Title = What is a Ball of fire?????? | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.12.10 | Player = Devon Shadowbane | Title = What is a Ball of fire?????? | Category = Items | Question = What is the Ball of fire? I was at the crater during an inferno/magma golem invasion. Afterwards i was using the [ key to scroll through any items that might have dropped. I was right next to the LS and the shops when i came across a "ball of fire" I was interested about it, especially because it happened to be about 150 feet in the air. I selected it and walked around until i was under it. Then i did the overhead view of my character and zoomed out with the + key. I was about 1/2way to the maximum zoom when i passed where the white arrows said the ball of fire was. there was nothing there! I then hit the hand icon to to try and grab it, and it showed the Icon Grayed out very briefly in my inventory. It was a Fire Throwing dagger. I logged off to report this, when i thought of logging on again to get coords. When i logged back on it was gone! Was this some messed up bug? or is it actually supposed to be there, and if so, why? | Answered = 2000.12.11 | Dev = Stormwaltz | Answer = It's a thrown weapon wielded by fire elementals. They're supposed to disappear when the monster dies. Sometimes they get stuck in midair - probably when the monster dies while its in flight.<br /><br />Sounds to me like the landblock reloaded when you were gone, which set the slate clean again. }} }}
