{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=656</nowiki> | Title = Purpose of Spellcraft on Items | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.11.01 | Player = Hairy | Title = Purpose of Spellcraft on Items | Category = Items | Question = What is the purpose of the spellcraft figure on an item such as a wand ? Is it only relevant when casting the spell inherent to the wand/orb etc ? Or does it have some bearing upon the spells you might cast yourself ?<br /><br />Thanks ! | Answered = 2000.11.01 | Dev = devilmouse | Answer = Spellcraft on items represents the "skill level" of the item. A 200 spellcraft piece of enchanted casts its spell as if it were a caster with a 200 skill. So yes, the only place you'll really notice it is on casting items (orb/wands/etc). }} }}
