{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=1749</nowiki> | Title = Any chance of a true "blood drinker" spell/weapon? | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.11.07 | Player = Kain the Drunk | Title = Any chance of a true "blood drinker" spell/weapon? | Category = Magic | Question = I'm reminded of MM7 and such, and vampire tales, hence the name blood drinker... in MM7 if your weapon had BD on it, it drained life from your adversary and gave you a portion of that life.<br /><br />Just an idea as I think it sucks melee folks - when fighting monsters with the drain health/stam/mana ability - basically have to play "lets-see-how-many-healingkits-it'll take-me-this-time" to kill a shadow/bandie/frag/virindi, or in other words we have to take their their spell-casting crap until their mana AND stamina are depleted, since magic resistance still doesn't cut it...<br /><br />Thanks for reading, and thanks for this piece of crack you call AC =b =) | Answered = 2000.11.10 | Dev = Stormwaltz | Answer = New code - specifically, that would be "Item that casts spell on target with successful hit (a drain, in this case). A idea we like, but it's not likely to happen. }} }}
