Like other clans, after the unification of the Viamont and the founding of its national army by [[Elous V]], their members became leaders in the army of the Viamont.<ref name=OriginsViamont>2004/11 [[The Origins and Current Disposition of Viamont]]</ref>

Members of the clan of the Cinghalle or House of Cinghalle are titled with "du Cinghalle" or "di Cinghalle".
