'''Combat Macro''' are automated player characters run by [[Decal]] scripting programs that allow to engage in combat. Because of their ability to gain experience without a live player controlling them, combat macros are a controversial topic. There are two types of combat macros:


* <font color=green>'''Attended Combat Macro'''</font> or ACM is a character running a combat macro program while the player is at the keyboard, ready to respond to a turbine representative. This type of combat macro is allowed.


* <font color=red>'''Unattended Combat Macro'''</font> or UCM is a character running a combat macro program while the player is '''''not''''' at the keyboard, not able to respond to a turbine representative. This type of combat macro is forbidden. If a UCM is tested by a turbine representative and fails to prove they are attended, the player's account may be subject to a temporary ban from the game.
