Editing Forum:ACMaps.com Issues

 | Text = In response to a month old post on the [http://forums.ac.turbine.com/showthread.php?t=53095 Turbine Forums] and after failing to make contact with Greeneye or Maggie, I've decided to temporarily modify our template behavior that links to ACMaps.com maps. For now the links go to a local copy of the map. Once their sites are available again or I hear from either of them I can easily revert the templates to point to the original pages again. (As part of this I replaced the long form link in the [[Dungeon Template|map section of dungeon pages]] with a small template to make it easy to change in the future if needed.)

I've resisted doing this before for obvious reasons, but the downtime has been so prolonged that I'd hope no one will get upset with this, but if someone does it can be changed without any problem.

On a side note there were only three wiki maps that used the .gif format and so conflicted with acmaps versions, so I just converted and moved those three to .png files and we can reserve gifs for acmaps so there are no future conflicts.
