These facts seem to hint at a [[Milantos]] origin, but that is unconfirmed.

They are trying to lure unwitting humans to be sacrifices for the shadows.<ref>2003/12 [[Waking From the Abyss]] - [[Note (Order of the Raven Hand)]]</ref> One of their victims is [[Bewren]], who was turned into a shadow after being betrayed by his brother [[Jaeget]].
