* Introduced during the [[Throne of Destiny]] expansion, Sanamar is the fourth starter town. It features several quests intended for levels 5-20.
* Overlooking the town is the [[Royal Hall]], home of [[King Varicci II]].
* One important aspect of Sanamar is that it is the starting location for the faction quests leading to [[Ordina Rossu Morta]] faction membership.  The first Viamontian Loyalist quest is intended for level 20 characters.  Speak to the [[Grand Knight]] in the palace if you are interested.  Those wanting to join the [[Whispering Blade]] instead should go to [[Silyun]] and seek the [[Grand Mother]].
* [[Luressi di Maki]] in a house at 72.0N, 61.4W in Sanamar will sell you a portal gem to [[Silyun]] for a V note.
