== Notes ==
New characters begin inside the Training Academy. The academy is an interactive tutorial for Asheron's Call, designed to familiarise players with the basic game mechanics and also give them starter experience, weapons, armor and other equipment.

* During the [[The First Strike]] event, the Training Academy was introduced to take the place of the now retired [[Training Halls]] tutorial. 
* During the [[Throne of Destiny]] event, the [[The Exploration Society|Exploration Society]] took over the academy and most of the NPCs were replaced with Society members. Some of the quests were changed also resulting in some items being retired. See [[Training Academy#Pre-Throne of Destiny Training Academy|below]] for more details of the original Training Academy quest.
* During the [[Throne of Destiny]] event, the level 1-5 training hall/academy portals were removed:
