{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=1818</nowiki> | Title = Dot color for allegiance members | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.11.08 | Player = Apollo | Title = Dot color for allegiance members | Category = Allegiances | Question = Is it possible, and if so how hard, to have allegiance members appear a new/diff color on radar... for pk and all kinds of other reasons? | Answered = 2000.11.08 | Dev = Sean. | Answer = There is actually a fair amount of server burden in doing this.<br /><br />You'd think it would be easy. Hey, just make a dot of a different color, but no.<br /><br />For your radar to know you are in the same allegiance with another dot on the radar, it has to do some searching and it would have to do that with every combination of people on the radar, making it exponential depending on how many are around.<br /><br />So while it may seem like a quick task, it would actually significantly decrease server performance. }} }}
