{{Turbine Games Q&A | Link = <nowiki>http://www.turbinegames.com/qa/view_questions.html?id=3441</nowiki> | Title = New Models vs Upgrading Previous Models | Text = {{Turbine Games Q&A Question | Asked = 2000.11.30 | Player = Balduran | Title = New Models vs Upgrading Previous Models | Category = Graphics | Question = What is the primary goal of the Turbine AC art department at the moment? Is the primary focus on creating new content like new monsters and dungeons or upgrading previous models. There is a noticable difference in the texture quality on the new islands dungeons/monsters, which would be nice if it could be applied to all existing monsters, but what is the ratio currently for how you spend your time? 75% on new stuff/25% upgrading old models...? The golems got lovin, then the Olthoi (I think?), shadows (sorta), and lately there have been alot of new monsters (not just palette swaps), so whats next? This is already turning into several questions so i'll stop now, Thanks for the great QA board!<br /><br />-Balduran of Thistledown | Answered = 2000.12.01 | Dev = Stormwaltz | Answer = Priority is ''always'' for new content.<br /><br />Upgrading old stuff is catch as catch can. When an artist has free time and inclination, he'll improve something. }} }}
