You must kill the [[Underminer Leader]] in the [[Granite Quarry]] and return his notes to [[Royal Guard Adrana]] in [[Yanshi]] to be able to use the lower undermine portal.

The Yanshi Swarm Matron's Claw can be returned to [[Royal Guard Adrana]] in [[Yanshi]] for 45,000,000 million xp.
