- To access this quest, you must first obtain a Gold Hill Ruins Portal Gem dropped by some Sclavus creatures such as Chomu Sclavus and Faisi Sclavus.

- Use the gem in an open space to summon a portal to the Gold Hill Ruins, a location outside on a hill at 21.2N, 12.6W.
- It is a safe drop. On the hill, in between the ruins, lots of Sclavus spawn| Chomu Sclavus, Faisi Sclavus, Aste Sclavus Lord, Essa Sclavus Lord
- On the ground, at 21.0N 12.7W, you find a Large Golden Coin.
- Give the Coin to a Beggar, such as Binthura the Beggar in Dryreach.
- She will give you a Serpent Ring, and a Philanthropist Title Token which can be turned in at the Bestowers' Guild of Dereth in Eastham, Lin, or Qalaba'r for the title reward.
