;Iron Blade Warmaster Task
|Atamarr tells you, "I have a task in which you may be able to aid me. I have managed to subvert a small number of Gear Knights in the Iron Blade's invasion, and they have identified a Gear Knight in a position of influence within the forces whose loss would slow the expansion of the Iron Blade"
|Atamarr tells you, "There is an Iron Blade Warmaster who has recently arrived from our home realm. My spies tell me that he is a gifted tactician, and if his skills were given time to be exercised, it could spell trouble for us."
|Atamarr tells you, "You will find the Warmaster deep within the excavations that the Iron Blade have made in the heart of the area they control in the Direlands."
|Atamarr tells you, "I would expect he will not be easy to kill, so take care in this mission. I have also been told that he stays on the move, speaking with the troops and formulating plans, so he may be difficult to find. Search in the deepest areas of the excavation, and I am sure you'll find him soon enough. Once he is dead, return to me."

I have managed to subvert a small number of Gear Knights in the Iron Blade's invasion, and they have identified a Gear Knight in a position of influence within the forces that may be convinced to end his involvement with the Iron Blade."
|Atamarr tells you, "The Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander they have recruited is known to me, and I believe him to be a very honorable and rational Gear Knight.  I would approach him directly, or send one of my spies, but the Iron Blade Commanders have spread many stories about the Isparians manipulating and controlling those of us who have been recently repaired.  I believe it'd be far more convincing to have one of your people deal with him directly, so he may judge for himself."
|Atamarr tells you, "You will find the Knight-Commander in the excavations that the Iron Blade have made in the heart of the area they control in the Direlands."
|Atamarr tells you, "I would expect he will demand some sort of proof. I ask that you follow his requests, and let him come to understand your people as I have come to. Once you complete whatever tasks he sets before you, return to me."

|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "I do not know if I believe your words, even though your voice rings of truth.  However, there may be a chance for you to prove it."
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "There are a group of beings that appear to be of your race, camped out over a set of excavated ruins, north of here. They have been cutting down our soldiers, and carting off the bodies."
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "I would send my own forces to deal with them, but the Iron Blade are preventing those from outside their house from engaging that camp, and they will not answer as to why."
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "If these beings are Simulacra, as you say, then I wish for you to go and kill their leader. I am told he is called General Takaris."
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "Bring me proof of his death, as well as proof that he is not one of your own, and I will trust your words."
|You give Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander Empty Skin.
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "What is this?  Some sort of bag?"
|You explain to the Gear Knight that it is the outer skin of General Takaris, and it is how the Simulacra are formed.
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "Well, this is indeed something unexpected and profound.  Thank you.  I will take this to my brethren, and we will discuss how to proceed.  My guess is that we will confront the Iron Blade Commander about this, but if there is duplicity at work here, I am not sure what that will cause in response."
|Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "It may be that some of us will be leaving here soon, and seeking out Primus Atamarr, to offer our apologies and support to his endeavors."

One of the tasks Atamarr may give you is dispatching the Iron Blade Warmaster.

  1. Run to 10.4S, 75.2W and enter the Direlands Gear Knight Dungeon.
  2. Locate the Iron Blade Warmaster, and kill.
  3. The Iron Blade Warmaster appears to spawn in one of the two rooms with a Storage Box (unconfirmed if these are the only locations). The spawn time currently appears to be random in nature, or perhaps is related to talking to the two NPC Gearknights within the dungeon (unconfirmed location/spawning mechanism).
  4. Return to Atamarr for reward.

Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander Task Edit

Atamarr asks you to approach the Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander and gain its trust. The Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander will ask you to kill General Tarkaris, the Gear Hunter leader.

  2. Locate the Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander and talk to it.
  3. Run to 7.2S, 75.0W and enter the Gear Hunter Dungeon.
  4. Find and kill General Tarkaris. Loot the Empty Skin.
  5. Return to the Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander and give it the Empty Skin.
  6. Return to Atamarr and talk to him for your reward.

Copper Cog Craftsmaster Task Edit

Atamarr asks you to approach the Copper Cog Craftsmaster and gain its trust. The Copper Cog Craftsmaster will ask you to kill the virindi leader in the Gear Hunter Dungeon, the Apostate Overseer.

  1. Run to 10.4S, 75.2W and enter the Direlands Gear Knight Dungeon.
  2. Locate the Copper Cog Craftsmaster and talk to it.
  3. Run to 7.2S, 75.0W and enter the Gear Hunter Dungeon.
  4. Find and kill the Apostate Overseer. Loot the Apostate Overseer's Mask.
  5. Return to the Copper Cog Craftsmaster and give it the Apostate Oversee's Mask.
  6. Return to Atamarr and talk to him for your reward.

Silver Scope Spymaster Edit

  1. Run to 10.4S, 75.2W and enter the Direlands Gear Knight Dungeon.
  2. Locate the Silver Scope Spymaster and talk to her.
  3. Run to 7.2S, 75.0W and enter the underground dungeon filled with Simulacra, Gear Hunters and Gear Hunter Mages. Fire appears to work well on them.
  4. At the three way split, take the right path and pick up the Silver Scope Spymaster Apostate Message Shard on the ground.
  5. Return to the Silver Scope Spymaster and hand her the Apostate Message Shard.
  6. Return to Atamarr and talk to him for your reward.

Dialog Edit

Opening Dialog
Iron Blade Warmaster Task

Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander Task

Atamarr tells you, "I have a task in which you may be able to aid me. I have managed to subvert a small number of Gear Knights in the Iron Blade's invasion, and they have identified a Gear Knight in a position of influence within the forces that may be convinced to end his involvement with the Iron Blade."

Silver Scope Spymaster Task

Atamarr tells you, "I have a task in which you may be able to aid me. I have managed to subvert a small number of Gear Knights in the Iron Blade's invasion, and they have identified a Gear Knight in a position of influence within the forces that may be convinced to end her involvement with the Iron Blade."

Atamarr tells you, "There is a Silver Scope Spymaster who has recently arrived from our home realm. She is a very skilled Spymaster, and I believe she already suspects that the information being imparted by the Iron Blade may be less accurate than it should be. With a little help, she may be convinced of the truth, and aid us in ending this invasion. I wish you to go and tell her about the Apostate Virindi, their Simulacra, and how they are framing your people in this war."

Atamarr tells you, "You will find the Spymaster in the excavations that the Iron Blade have made in the heart of the area they control in the Direlands."

Atamarr tells you, "I would expect she will demand some sort of proof. I ask that you follow her requests, and let her come to understand your people as I have come to. Once you complete whatever tasks she sets before you, return to me."
Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander

Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "I do not know why you have come. Speak quickly, lest I call down the guard."

You quickly explain about the Gold Gear Primus, the Apostate Virindi and the Simulacra, and how the Apostates are endeavoring to frame the Isparians for the deaths and disappearances of the initial Gear Knights through the Gate.

Bronze Gauntlet Knight-Commander tells you, "Tell the Primus what has transpired between us, and that we may be seeing him soon, under a banner of truce, to hear his words."
Copper Cog Craftsmaster

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "I don't know why you're here, but you seem peaceful enough, for one of the body-thieves."

You quickly explain about the Gold Gear Primus, the Apostate Virindi and the Simulacra, and how the Apostates are endeavoring to frame the Isparians for the deaths and disappearances of the initial Gear Knights through the Gate.

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "I don't know if I believe your words, but I believe I can test your truth through your actions."

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "There are a group of beings that appear to be of your race, camped out over a set of excavated ruins, north of here. They have been cutting down our soldiers, and carting off the bodies."

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "The Iron Blade won't let anyone outside of their House near this camp, though they battle with the body-thieves there constantly."

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "I've heard one of the scouts mention a being that matches the description of this Virindi you mentioned, entering the ruins. Bring me something of its that I may examine. There may be a great deal of info about our enemies I can learn from it, if this story is true."

You give Copper Cog Craftsmaster Apostate Overseer's Mask.

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "So, this is from that Virindi creature? Let's see what we can learn from it..."

The Copper Cog Craftsmaster attaches a pair of small devices to the mask, and fiddles with small gears that protrude from the devices surfaces.

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "Well, this is interesting. It seems some of the creatures memories are stored in this mask, and that they can be deciphered with some effort."

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "I will bring my findings to the Commanders. I know they will see reason. We may have good cause to be in this realm, as our brethren have indeed been taken, but we may be after the wrong beings here."

Copper Cog Craftsmaster tells you, "Tell the Gold Gear Primus what has transpired between us, and that we may be seeing him soon, under a banner of truce, to hear his words on this."
Silver Scope Spymaster

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "I know why you're here. I have seen Atamarr's spies, but have left them be, for now. Now, tell me what Atamarr has sent you here to tell me."

You quickly explain about the Gold Gear Primus, the Apostate Virindi and the Simulacra, and how the Apostates are endeavoring to frame the Isparians for the deaths and disappearances of the initial Gear Knights through the Gate.

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "I have heard some of this before, along with many reports that your people are trying to foist your guilt off on other beings. There is, however, a way for you to prove your words."

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "There are a group of beings that appear to be of your race, camped out over a set of excavated ruins, north of here. They have been cutting down our soldiers, and carting off the bodies."

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "My attempts to get Silver Scope Scouts into the area have been thwarted by my superiors. I am honor-bound to obey them, but nothing in my oaths says I cannot send you in for me."

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "See if you can find one of their messages. A group that size, taking orders from elsewhere, as you say, would need a line of communication open. I have not seen messengers entering or leaving, but the Portal Magic of this realm can explain that lack, easily enough. Any messages they have will likely be deep inside their encampments. Bring me one, and we'll talk further."

You give Silver Scope Spymaster Apostate Message Shard.

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "Is this how they communicate? Interesting."

The Silver Scope Spymaster places the crystal into a small device, which seems to be pulling out and translating the information within the crystal.

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "Not too different from the Aetherium encoded messages my people sometimes use, though the language may take a little bit. Also seems a few defenses in the crystal to be overcome."

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "Once I have unlocked all of the information in that crystal, I'll see what I can do about getting the truth out to the troops. I have a bad feeling what I learn from the crystal is already known by the Iron Blade Commanders, and that worries me on several levels."

Silver Scope Spymaster tells you, "Tell the Primus what has transpired between us, and that I may be paying a visit to him soon."
