Originally, the Matron Dungeons (see also [[Matron Hive West]], [[Matron Hive East]] and [[Matron Hive North]] were located on [[Asheron's Island]] and had upper level restrictions. The dungeons only spawned the Matrons after one in the lower level dungeon was killed. Only after getting through the exit portal, you were flagged to enter [[Asheron's Castle]]. The Matron Hive South was located at 15.9S, 73.7E, restricted 20-49, and was later moved to the town of [[Nanto]] with the level restriction changed to 40+.
