Overview

• You can turn in this item to go towards a server wide count that, when triggered at certain amounts, will increase the kill task rewards for everyone. This count resets weekly.
• You have the option to turn in the Tainted Blood to Jones for a reward, however, the items will not count towards the server count.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Speak to Vashi N'cho or Jones at Leviathan Hold.
2. Kill Aberrant Reedshark in the area until you collect 10 Tainted Blood.
3. Return and give them to Vashi N'cho or Jones to add to the server wide count to increase the kill task rewards or get rewarded.

Dialog

Vashi N'cho:

Vashi N'cho tells you, "These reedsharks are being changed by whatever happened with the Virindi! Reedsharks aren't that different from moars... Could they be from Bur too? A shared heritage? Could they be on the path to similar alteration, or will they become more feral? Adventurer, bring me a sample from the reedsharks!"
Vashi N'cho tells you, "Make haste, I need 10 samples that have not been decayed beyond usefulness, and this energy accelerates that process!"

Jones:

Jones tells you, "Look, kid. I know what the researchers are asking you to get, but poking and prodding and archaic identification spells won't help us win this fight. The cloak-and-scythe crew is ramping up this fight and it turns out they were just sending their researchers at us before."
Jones tells you, "Now we're dealing with the big swords, and it sounds like we've drawn the attention of something called the Virindi Imperator. I don't know what that is. But it don't sound good, kid."
Jones tells you, "Bring me your samples and maybe we can use it to make a weapon. The Syndicate will see that you get more rewards than some honeyed words to the rest of the guys sitting around the camp talking about moons we don't live on and creatures from a millenia ago."
