Overview

Quest to gain access to the chapterhouse for the Whispering Blade faction.

• You must have completed all previous Whispering Blade Faction Quests in order to begin this quest.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Travel to Ayan Baqur and speak with Harkwull the Discreet. He will tell you to go to Sanamar.
2. Travel to Sanamar and go south to Dardante's Workshop at 69.6N, 62.7W.
3. The dungeon is linear, near the end of the first segment are several Summoning Chamber Adepts that drop a Ring of the Summoning Adepts. Each person in the party will need one, wear it to enter the next portal to the Summoning Chamber.
4. Continue to a large room where you can go left or right to find the Binding Realm where you'll find the Bound Falatacot. You can talk to him first, or go right to killing him, he drops the Untranslated Bound Falatacot Fragment.
5. Return to Ayan Baqur and give the fragment to Harkwull the Discreet who will reward you with the Ring of the Whispering Blade, a translation of the fragment, and xp. Wearing this ring allows you to enter the Whispering Blade Chapterhouse at 59.9S, 87.2W just east of Ayan.
   • Note: The quest Tracking Grael rewards you with an orb that allows you to recall inside the chapterhouse, which means you no longer need the ring to get inside.

Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "Ah, excellent... I have been looking for a person of your obvious skill who is loyal to Queen Elysa and the good folk of Silyun... as well as another organization. I seek someone of skill and daring to infiltrate the Summoning Chamber of Count Dardante,, King Varicci's chief thaumaturgical counselor."

Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "You must journey to Sanamar, to the Royal Hall itself, and find the portal to Dardante's Workshop. In there, you must find a way to gain access to his Summoning Chamber, and find what information you can from the spirits that the Count binds and torments there. Bring me what you find, and I will further initiate you into the mysteries of the Whispering Blade."

Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "I must also warn you that if you have made it this far into our confidence and are thinking of making use of those unscrupulous "plumbers" to erase your record of service... Well, suffice it to say, royal archives can be pillaged, but the Whispering Blade does not forget its own."

Returning Dialog

Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "We have already been over this, haven't we? I asked you to go to Dardante's Workshop beneath the Royal Hall in Sanamar, so that you may investigate Dardante's Summoning Chamber."

"You will serve, man-thing. I had not looked to see another in here, and I can tell you are not one of the minions of the overreaching fool Dardante. The code of my people demands that I go to meet oblivion with blood on my hands and my head unbowed by submission.
