| == Quest Overview ==
| |
| Give fused Crystal and Shadow fragments to the Master Armorers and they will build you a suit of powerful Shadow Hunter Armor.
| |
| | |
| == Walk Through ==
| |
| <font color=green>Optional:</font> Purchase the text Aliester's Corollary from various shopkeepers for more information on gemstone armor.

| | |
| === Shadow Fragments ===
| |
| The black fragments can be retrieved from Shadow creatures around most parts of Dereth. Generally speaking, the higher the level of the Shadow the bigger the fragment they drop, which in turn allows you to complete your gems quicker than combining parts taken from the lower level Shadows.
| |
| | |
| * Dark Specks are dropped by Small Shadow Children and Shadow Children.
| |
| * Dark Slivers are dropped by Shadows and Shadow Lieutenants.
| |

| === Scintillating Gem ===
| |
| Once you have your complete crystal and shadow fragments, combine the two types into a Sparkling Gem and then fuse the two Sparkling Gems together to form a Scintillating Gem. You will need two Scintillating Gems to receive a full suit of armor from a smith, the first gem you hand in will get you the leggings (including a girth if Celdon) and the second gem will get you the remaining upper parts.

| == Shadow Suits ==
| |
| During the To Raise a Banner of Flame event, the Master Armor Smiths were murdered by Hamud ibn Rafik and unable to create armor at its original strength. The post-patch suits resemble the old gold style and can be improved with Major Atlan Stones like before, but they have reduced armor level.
| |
| | |
| === Shadow Suits (Neo) ===
| |
| During the Fever Dreams event, the Armor Smiths returned to their original health and were able to produce Shadow Armor at its former strength. The new suits are silver in color, have a wield requirement of level 30 and cannot be improved with Atlan Stones. However, the armor level has been returned to the original pre-patch values prior to the To Raise a Banner of Flame event and can now be dyed with dye pots and improved with Armor Shards for major protection cantrips.

| |
| Jibril ibn Rashid tells you, "Nuhmudira has finally restored us to full health! She has also stocked us with some extra supplies that we needed, such that we can provide you with either a version of the original Shadow Armor, or its successor. If you wish to trade one version of your Amuli set for another, simply hand it to me. Please take out all Atlan stones from your armor before handing it to me."<br>
| |
| Jibril ibn Rashid tells you, "Also, if you wish to color your new Greater Shadow Armor, you may buy a vat of color from my assistant. If you do not like the color, please give me the armor piece and I will replace it with the standard piece, which you may then choose to recolor."<br>
| |
| </font>
| |
| ----
| |
| <font color=darkgoldenrod>Iian di Alduressa tells you, "With the aid of the other Master Armorers, I have managed to master the basics of crafting Alduressa versions of the Shadow Armors. I've crafted both the versions that may be set with the "Atlan Stones", and the more resilient, non-elemental versions. If you wish to trade one version of your Alduressa armor set for another, simply hand it to me. Please take out all Atlan stones from your armor before handing it to me."</font><br>
| |
| <font color=darkgoldenrod>Iian di Alduressa tells you, "Also, I have heard that the other Master Armorers have apprentices who sell paints for recoloring the Greater Shadow Armors. Those paints will also work upon the Greater Shadow Alduressa that I create. If you do not like the color, please give me the armor piece and I will restore the piece to its original colors, which you may then choose to recolor as you like."</font>
