• Given by the Representative of the Singularity in Gerent's Compound when you speak to him.
• Originally one of the three items that could be exchanged for a Writ of Refuge.
• Reintroduced as a purple crystal with the addition of the Preparation for the Ritus quest. As part of the initial preparation, Nuhmudira briefly appeared in Zaikhal on October 6, 2003 and accepted one newer purple crystal in return for an old blue one, which she inscribed: "I thank you for acquiring this item for me. Through your actions I will have the power necessary to enact my ritus."
• SUNDERING CUSTOM: To turn your Energy Crystal (Purple) into the classic blue one, run the Quiddity Weapons Quest. At the end of the quest, the Martinate Singularity Trove contains a Quiddity Energy Source to combine with the purple crystal.
