The Shattered Coil Era

For the Shattered Coil story arc, a new Falatacot language was developed, a dialect which according to Fanzen San the Translator predates the existing texts he had been studying and translating.

Falatacot Utterances, introduced in Reign of Terror (October 2003):

Falatacot Consort says, "Im vaik av tiu ikni liViliakti."

Falatacot Patrician says, "Im iakvi av tiu ikni Viliakti, Ij fiak kilt zakiik."

Falatacot Matriarch says, "Ekta livaik ikti vik ilkian, ia klia livaik ix vik iak."

From the quest we learn that Akri is the word for "Open"

A Poorly Translated Journal mentions two groups or races, "Iakvi Liviliakti" and "Tik Vaiktu Kiktij."

Sister Vitriaka says, "Ek, taivti Tik Vaiktu Kiktij tiu ikni arkvikt."

From The Temple of Ixir Zi, introduced in Across the Vast Divide (March 2004):

Shi vaik tukinti ikni likik ki inki Viliakti, av esk ilti?

The language is guttural and hard. You do not understand what was asked of you, but you know that it was a question. As it speaks again, a vein of understanding spreads through you.

"Jiktani ekta irntrika to the matron of this temple. Prove to Ixir Zi that you are devout followers of the Watcher. Bring me the sacred gem from this room. Only then will I recognize the work of your and your fellows."

"Once you have completed this challenge you will then need to stay amongst your fellows through the remainder of this temple. I shall grant you entrance into the halls of High Matron Ixir Zi's temple, only when you have succeeded. You must gather into groups of equivalent learning. Failure av iakvi.

Global:

For a brief moment the scent of a fetid, decaying swamp assails the senses. A visible ripple can be seen around Dereth and the islands. As quickly as the wave arose it is gone, and a voice carries on the wind, "Ekta vaik av kintiku, ia avtu ikni livaik ekta ukri! Tik Vaiktu Kiktij, ikni zirku zikt Bur av akri. Klia mijik av iaktik, ikni iak av ixk.

Post Coil Era

Players had attempted to translate the new Falatacot, but were not completely successful. After asking the developers for some hints, it was revealed that the person who created the language, Orion, had left the AC team, and the computer files containing the information regarding his Falatacot dialect were lost. With this in mind, none of the newer Falatacot words or sayings should be considered when attempting to translate.
