My Apologies for making a change to reflect how this quest was now. I will refrain from doing so in the future.

I don't know of a way of automating that no, although it should be easier to spot new users now since all the others are no longer red. I didn't add everyone, just everyone I could find with more than a single edit that showed up on popular pages or that had already edited their user page once, I probably missed some people. --Tlosk 08:27, 8 January 2009 (CST)
I changed the color schemes on the skill pages, they were unreadable before. If you would prefer different colors that's fine by me. I figured it was most important to be able to see the text :D

Re: Wiki Questions
Hey there, thanks for the detailed reply! I was able to chat with Bob briefly in Discord as well, so I think I am fully up-to-date on the status of the wiki. The reddit discussions you linked were exactly the type of information I was looking for.

I was fairly active on acpedia.org making edits back in 2013-2014. Looking at my contribution list, I have been able to verify that they are pretty much all merged with the current wikia/fandom content. That is good because my main aim was always to contribute for the community. I'm in the process of getting back into the game, so any edits I make going forward will be on fandom. Although, I will most certainly be using acpedia.org for browsing/reading purposes.

POIs
My own story is actually fairly similar to the AC wiki. I was an admin on the Dragon Quest Wiki on wikia back in 2009-2010. In 2010, we decided to go independent due changes being forced by wikia. That is when I created dragon-quest.org and ported everything over. I still run the site today and am part of NIWA which is an organization to foster collaboration among independently hosted wikis. So I can identify with the challenges and decisions that you have had to make over the years. I still very much dislike wikia/fandom, but I admit that if I do get hit by a bus, the Dragon Quest wiki is probably in trouble. --Pagoda (talk) 01:59, July 28, 2019 (UTC)

Yeah, I looked through the categories, and I totally see how it would quickly become muddled, since so many things have the same, or similar names, and with Turbine not really "naming" quests, they pick up "popular names" that are often the same as other areas, or POIs. I see the reasoning behind that now. The POI category actually has less entries that don't have the coords in front of them, maybe those should get renamed/redirected to have the coords? Either way, I do see the reasoning behind it, and it makes a lot more sense now that I understand that, lol. I'm a bit too used to Wikipedia, where things are a bit more structured, but here that's not really possible with the way Turbine names things, lol. Ling♥Mei 12:47, 11 December 2008 (CST)

Spells
Hi there!

I added the spell Mucor Jolt as a redirect for Drain_Health_(Spell), but as it is not "castable" (only found on a weapon), would this properly classify itself as Spell? It's not really a cantrip either, so where do you think it should be redirected to? Maybe Drain Health (Cantrip) ?
Yes, I recreated all of the content for Neftet that was recently released to Coldeve and the Drunkenfell ACE servers. The content is also in the works for GDLE conversion. To answer your question, I studied the data for several months, watched numerous videos on several of the quests to jog my personal memory and meticulously re-created everything as perfect as humanly possible according to PCAP data. What changed was mostly quest rewards as Legendary Tokens were phased out, and several videos confirm the updated rewards.

Sandbox
They were outdated both here and acpedia. I also reflected these changes at acpedia. I hope this answers your question! Feel free to message in in Discord in the ACE channel under Drid#4917 in the contributor channel, or the LSD channel under content contributor. All of us in the AC community appreciate your diligence and efforts in maintaining these wiki's! Since the content is "fresh" again, I felt it deserved to be corrected as players will be coming here now that the content is available once more!
In the Sandbox, I was looking to create redirect entries for the following spells, yet these are not castable, they only are from items like a Gem of Stillness:
* Cleanse All Magic Other ‎(16 links)
* Evaporate All Magic Other ‎(16 links)
* Extinguish All Magic Other ‎(16 links)
* Devour All Magic Other ‎(13 links)
* Nullify All Magic Other ‎(13 links)
* Purge All Magic Other ‎(13 links)

Regards,
Drid

On the other hand, there are some castable spells that do need to be added, like:
--Dridsghost (talk) 04:54, March 5, 2020 (UTC)
* Eradicate Creature Magic Self
* Eradicate Item Magic Self
* Eradicate Life Magic Self
* Eradicate Creature Magic Other
* Eradicate Item Magic Other
* Eradicate Life Magic Other

These are the level 7s, but there are level 1-8 versions of the spell. Should we create entries called Dispell Creature Magic (Spell), Dispell Item Magic (Spell), and Dispell Life Magic (Spell)? Also, what should we do about the item only spells, just leave them on their own? Or Perhaps we should have a Dispell All Magic (Spell)? What do you think? --Atarax 16:08, 8 January 2009 (CST)
