During the Stirrings in the Dark event a fix to Alchemy Forges was introduced to alleviate a freezing up issue for the Crafting Forges contract.

-Head East out of drop room, then South, then West in next room, South 2 rooms, East one room, then up a ramp to the North, at the top of this ramp, take a right up another ramp to the South, take the first hallway to the East.

-Exit this room with the North-East passage you are now in a room with a room to the East with orange portals as the floor, and a room to the South with yellow portals as a floor.
-Enter the East room with the orange floor, take a left in this room, and head up a ramp, at the top of this ramp you will battle Virindi, drudges and hollow minions, exit this room and take a left into a larger room, and exit this room to the North.
-Continue in this hall and through some small rooms,until you reach a down ramp, at the end of the ramp take a right and head to the east, immediately take the first hallway to the North, you will enter a room with up ramps to the West and East, take the East ramp up, at the end of this ramp hug the right wall until you reach another ramp up.
-After this ramp take a East into a room then immediately North to the Boss Area, here you find 2 Western Overseers In the NE and NW of the room, Thy both have a Band of Shielding, and   Western Forge Essence, Everyone needs one of each.
-Take the Western Forge Essence to  an Agent of the Arcanum.
-Agent of the Arcanum gives you Writ of Refuge.
-You've earned 73,139,996 experience. at level 260
-And your done.
-The Western Forge Essence is Bonded and can be given to another char to turn in.
