In P.Y. ??, Sir Candeth Martine was taken from his homeland of Aluvia and found himself on Dereth. On [[Ispar]], he left behind his young daughter [[Aritta]] and wife [[Melanay]]. When he first arrived, he felt lost and alone. He joined [[The Exploration Society]] so he could help other new arrivals. On one [[Mace of the Explorer Quest|mission]], observing a Mosswart tribe, he was betrayed by the Society, and given up to the Virindi.
