General

During Cold Tracks this quest became a part of the Asheron's Departure Lower quest, the Bur flagging quest for characters below level 80.

Walk Through

1. Head to the Folthid Estate (approx coords: 8.8S, 53.7E), either running from Yanshi, or via the Neu Gerz Villas settlement portal out of Lytlethorpe.
2. [OPTIONAL] Give Felscuda a blank sheet of Parchment to learn how to gain access to the deeper areas of the cellar.
3. Give Raxanza Folthid a Wood Heart for the Key. There is one Wood Golem outside the cellar, and several more in the first room of the cellar.
4. Enter the Folthid Cellar. Use the Key to open the Cellar Door.
5. Take right after opening the door, working your way down into the dungeon.
6. Work your way to the room with the lever (there are a few different routes). Pull this lever to open the door in the large room below.
7. [OPTIONAL] In the room behind the lever door, open the Large Chest to loot the Old Nectar.
8. Jump down into the deeper catacombs of the dungeon. In this lower chamber, take the hallway on the north wall. Follow this hall down, passed some mosswarts, across a bridge, and down a ramp into a room with some Liches.
9. The room with the ramp and liches has a hallway to the south and to the east. Take the hall to the east. turn into the two small rooms and pull the lever located within, then return to the ramp room.
10. Now take the hall to the south. Turn right into a small room, which should have an open door. Pull the lever in the center of this room and continue down the hall. Follow the hallway, passed the liches, down a ramp and across into the open door. Jump down into the pit, and take the hallway into the final room.
11. Kill the sclavi. One of the Aste Sclavus drops the dagger of Tikola and another Key.
12. [OPTIONAL] Open the Large Chest and loot the Dull Dagger and/or Ancient Shard of Metal. Use the second Key to open the door at the end of the room for access to a surface portal.
13. [OPTIONAL] Turn in the Ancient Shard of Metal to Felscuda for exp and, if below level 80, Ruminations on Portal Creation and 1/3 of the Bur flag.
14. [OPTIONAL] Turn in the Old Nectar to Raxanza Folthid for exp and 500 pyreals.

Felscuda tells you, "Just between you and me, but are you seeking entry into the Folthid Cellar? My studies hint of a very fine dagger within it, of ancient origin. Beware; it may be guarded, and my heart tells me of treacherous danger within."
Felscuda tells you, "Also, you will not be able to give it away once you have it; you can only sell it. To get in to the dungeon, you will need to convince Lady Folthid to give you the key. Try giving her a wood heart from a golem."

Please keep my secret."
Felscuda tells you, "Since the house was built, I have watched for signs of activity from the cellar. It has been quiet, but this device indicates new activity."
Felscuda tells you, "Someone has attempted to use it recently - I can tell by the small tarnish here, which indicates that a surge of portal magic enveloped the device. However, whatever magic was attempted did not work. This is but a fragment of the entire device, and the device would have needed to be whole in order to work properly."
Felscuda tells you, "If I were to guess, I would say that there was a faction of Falatacot somewhere doing something - I am sorry I cannot be more specific."
Felscuda tells you, "Someone should find Asheron and inform him...but he has not been seen in so long. This note may help. It was research he was conducting shortly before he left. May it be of use to you."
