Quest Overview

Old starter-town quest that involves retrieving a bottle of water from inside the Water Temple.

Walk Through

1. Speak to Society Agent, Shin Ro (52.3S, 81.6E), in Nanto, to obtain a Water Temple key.
2. Proceed to the Water Temple (52.1S, 80.3E)and work your way down to the bottom.
3. Use the Key on the left chest in the final room to retrieve a Bottle of Water.
4. Return the bottle to Shin Ro for your rewards.

Shin Ro tells you, "I have been contracted by the Dereth Exploration Society to help them in their outreach program towards the Isparians who find themselves newly exiled in Dereth. If you collect any of the Society's stamped letters, you may bring them back to me for a reward."
Shin Ro tells you, "It has also been requested that I start handing out these orbs."

Shin Ro tells you, "By the way -- if you haven't yet done so, you might want to visit Ji Ra Ping at the North Outpost, or Inuo KonKou at the East Outpost. They often have tasks for young adventurers."
Shin Ro tells you, "If you find the Water Temple on the mountain to the west and retrieve the Water Bottle, I will repay you."

Notes

• During the Learning From Experience event, the xp reward for the book was increased from 4,000 to 6,000.
• In the The Risen Princess event, this quest was updated as part of a larger update made to the Exploration Society Letters quest:
  • Letter to Shin Ro step no longer necessary.
  • Quest dungeon increased in difficulty.
  • Original item reward of 2 Potions of Healing and 100 Pyreals updated.
  • Xp reward increased from 6,000 (fixed) to 4,500,000 (?% up to ??).
