Quick Walk Through

Get (flagged to pick up) a Cydna Wren's Portal Gem
Get the Whispering Venom Crystal from Nuhmudira's Dungeon (can be solo-ed)
Return to Darhy, Assistant to Nuhmudira again to get one of the possible Crystal Ring
Wear the ring to get access to the Lair of the Ancient Queen
Get to and kill an Olthoi Sentinel (group quest) and loot an Olthoi Abdomen Fragment
Turn this in at the Olthoi Hunter and receive an Olthoi Shield, which, depends on your level

Starting Point

Officially, you must talk to Darhy, Assistant to Nuhmudira to get started. But, it is not absolutely necessary. If you have already once been flagged to pick up a portal gem, you can go straight to the second part for the Venom Ring. If not..

Getting Flagged

Go to the bottom of the Crystal Mines, at 49.3S 17.9E near Khayyaban. Keep going down, and follow right hand rule. At the bottom, you will find A Bar Tab and Hyip the Toad's pickaxe.
These can be returned to Hyip the Toad in the Tavern in Arwic. As far as I remember, returning the pickaxe is the part that flags you for the next part.
For the record: Hyip the Toad sends you to Djusufa bint Huqis, the Jeweler in Zaikhal, who will in return send you to Cydna Wren, who will give you a journal which indicates the location of her portal gems.

Whispering Venom Crystal

Get Cydna Wren's Portal Gem from under A Small Pile of Rocks near an Armoredillo Cave at 11.0N 21.1E (Arwic to Al-Jalima [33.6N, 57.1E] >> Al-Jalima to Dillo Butte Settlement [5.7N, 4.3E] >> End Point [11.0N, 21.1E])
You pick up a gem from underneath the rock.
(You can get as many portal gems as you wish, they make good last-resort-recall-out gems)

Use this Portal Gem to get portaled into Nuhmudira's Dungeon. There are no creatures in this part of the dungeon.

Several of the crates in the bigger rooms hold Whispering Venom Crystal.

Hand this crystal in to Darhy, Assistant to Nuhmudira. You will receive a random Crystal Ring. Wearing this ring allows you into the Lair of the Ancient Queen

Lair of the Ancient Olthoi Queen

This dungeon can be found in Zaikhal, near the Residential Housing Portal. It does not hold the Ancient Olthoi Queen anymore.. She was only there during her Story Arc
Instead, you have the choice to take three different routes (with different level Olthoi, towards an Olthoi Sentinel. Kill it, and loot an Olthoi Abdomen Fragment (one fragment per kill).

Bring this to the Olthoi Hunter to receive a shield, how good it is, depends on your level.
