Quest Overview

A quest to retrieve three out of four of Jhong Mi's Writings. The missing part can be found by completing Lou Ei's Stolen Bracelet. Rewards are given for each of the Writings returned to Dai Ya the Scholar.

Walk Through

1. Speak to Te Ven at the South Yanshi Outpost 15.7S, 46.4E.
   • Route: From Holtburg take the Shoushi portal and then the Yanshi Portal at 33.5S 73.1E.
2. Once you have received Te Ven's Key run to the nearby Deserted Ruin at 16.0S, 47.2E.
3. Inside the dungeon take a right at the split and then keep left until you reach a locked door use the key and loot the first of Jhong Mi's Writings from the chest.
4. Head back to Yanshi proper and go to the Yanshi Tunnels just a few clicks away at 12.1S, 45.6E.
5. Take all lefts until you reach an open room with furniture and food on the floor, in the corner near the beds is a chest which contains the second of Jhong Mi's Writings.
6. Go back to the start and use the surface portal, when outside head east to the ReedShark Lair at 12.2S, 48.3E.
7. Make your way through the hall ignoring the first few side rooms, you will be in an open room with a bridge above you.
8. From here head west past the bridge and up the ramp to the third of Jhong Mi's Writings stored in a chest.

Te Ven tells you, "Greetings."
Te Ven tells you, "Nearby, hidden amidst the swamp trees to the east, is the deserted ruin where some lived before Yanshi was founded. Follow the gaze of the statues."
Te Ven tells you, "Unless you have lockpicking or a friend who has the skill, you will need this key once inside. If you recover one of the writings of Jhong Mi and take it to Scholar Dai Ya in Yanshi, he will reward you and give you more information."
