These appear to be random drops from almost any critter. The color of the item depends on the level of critter you found it on. Yellow is the lowest level, Red the middle, and Blue the highest. The only thing they seem to have in common with the Menhir Mana Fields quest is that you give them to the same NPC that gives that quest. Stack size is 10.
These items are no-drop and no-give! They can only be turned in by the character that looted them.
