The Mukkir are quite vicious and capable fighters. The Mukkir chitin is highly resistant to most forms of damage. It turns the slash of a sword and is flexible enough to hold up to the blow of a hammer. A properly aimed spear thrust, however, seems to be the most consistently effective attack.

It is clear the Mukkir are certainly not the same creature as was described in the Grael Rebellion. Some great magical power has intervened in the creation of these beasts. It seems that the "Living Shadow" that has seen mention in Falatacot texts is the link between a primitive humanoid gladiator and these spider-like creatures we know as Mukkir.
