Walkthrough & Notes

Before Heading to Nexus, You'll want to acquire a General History of Dereth Vol. V.
Go to the old Nexus dungeon at 40.1S, 79.2W in the West Direlands.
- Route: Run Northeast from Ayan Baqur or Southeast from Mount Lethe (if you have the recall spell) to 40.1S, 79.2W. The recall is the fastest way. Custom: Jungle Subway has a portal.
- Optional: The surface of the Nexus dungeon is tieable. If taking a group or multiple characters, have one tie to the surface and summon.
Once everyone has gathered at the drop, Hand the Book to the nearby Quiddity Seed. This will start the quest.
Fight or Run the choice is yours. Continue through the dungeon past both acid pits then proceed down the ramps, the dungeon is linear and all paths lead to the same locations till the bottom level.
Once you've jumped down you'll find a Nexus Shadow. Kill it and loot the Nexus Device Legs.
Continue, and after two more jumps, head north.
One person should talk to the Nexus Shadow Captain. When you see the green message, use the Portal Pillar in the room.
You will be sent to either Tufa or Cragstone. Kill the Tufa Spire Shadow or the Cragstone Spire Shadow to loot a Nexus Device Base and a portal gem. Combine the legs and base to obtain a Nexus Strange Device.
Optional: Kill Black Ferah in Cragstone or Ler Rhan in Tufa to spawn a Luminance Rift. Use it for extra luminance.
Use the portal gem to summon a portal back to the nexus.
When gathered and ready, hand the Nexus Strange Device to the Corpse of Nexus Crystal and click Yes on the popup.
Kill the Nexus Crystal and loot a Nexus Core Gem.
Nearby, an Emissary of Asheron will spawn. Talk to him for an experience and luminance reward. The Nexus Core Gem is used as a currency at the Virindi Armorer near the Emissary.
