- This staff was crafted by a dabbler in death magic, and the creator's obsession shows. Whether the creator was a true necromancer or a talented pretender, the staff does seem to exude the chill of the grave.
Notes
- Rare item.
- In Shedding Skin the stats were improved, including for existing items, see Death's Grip Staff (Retired) for the old stats. Also no longer drops on death automatically, it can be protected with death items/augmentations.
- The weapon now levels when you gain experience fighting with it and gives bonus spells the higher the level.
- During the Master of Arms event, the skill was changed from Staff to Finesse Weapons and the spells adjusted accordingly. The base damage was upped from 28.5 - 38 to 39 - 52.
